Danay fell in love with nursing when she was a little girl. As she says dreams do come true. She is the Director of Emergency Services for Hialeah Hospital. She oversees the department and makes sure that everything is going smoothly. Danay was instrumental in bringing Hialeah Hospital from paper to digital to computer.
She went to Miami Dade College and she is currently working on her Doctorate at Miami Regional University. She was a Tenet Hero in 2015 and she has been working at Hialeah Hospital sicne 2004. She calls Hialeah Hospital her second home. She loves her community and the people she gets to serve. On her spare time she likes to spend it with her family.
