At an outdoor ceremony held on April 28 at Danny Meehan Field Park, one of the most beautiful in this city and in Miami Dade County, Mayor Roberto Martell, with the city’s chamber of commerce, councilmembers, former mayors of the city, and police authorities, celebrated the 70th anniversary of Medley, with the presence of renowned personalities from other cities and with the participation of various organizations that joined this important celebration.
The Town of Medley was founded in the year of 1949, and today it is recognized worldwide, as Mayor Martell told us, not only for its development and for the achievements obtained in recent years, but for a Guinness Record Award received the previous month , for the greater number of “city keys” received, which become part of a large collection of important recognitions delivered to the city, which are displayed in a gallery exposed to the public in the facilities of the town hall.
A crowded attendance of residents, merchants and industrialists who have their business in the city gathered from midday on that Sunday, to enjoy the party with their families and friends, who with great joy shared in community everything prepared by the organizing team for such an important occasion.
