After a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 Miami International Boat Show kicked off on Wednesday, February 16, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The ceremony was attended by the leaders from the South Florida community, including Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, City of Miami Beach Mayor, Dan Gelber, Miami Dade County Board of Commissioner Chairman, Jose “Pepe” Diaz, President of U.S. Boat Shows for Informa Markets, Andrew Doole, President of the National Marine Manufacturers Association, Frank Hugelmeyer, President and CEO of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, David Whitaker, Miss Miami-Dade County, Danielle Ball, and the PR and Marketing Director for the Miss Miami Scholarship Program, Isabela Corzo.
The 5-day “Super Bowl of Boating” proved to be a grand success, welcoming over 100,000 visitors, both local and out-of-town, featuring more than one thousand exhibitors, bringing in hundreds of jobs to the area and an estimated $1.3 B in state economic impact. Just this year, the show was rebranded to Discover Boating Miami, a combination of the Miami International Boat Show, the Miami Yacht Show, and SuperYacht Miami. With locations and exhibition spaces in Miami Beach and Downtown Miami, the 2022 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show is the largest boat and yacht event in the world, placing Miami on the map.
We are confident that next year’s Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show will be an even larger success. The 2023 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show will return on February 15-19, 2023.

Después de la pausa causada por la pandemia COVID-19, el 2022 Show Internacional de Botes en Miami, se inauguró el miércoles 16 de Febrero, en el centro de convenciones de Miami Beach. La ceremonia inaugural fue muy solemne, con corte de cinta,a este encuentro asistieron importantes líderes de la comunidad del sur de la Florida, a saber: Congresista, Federica Wilson, Alcalde de Miami Beach, Dan Celder, Chairman de el Consejo del Condado Miami Dade, José «Pepe» Díaz, Presidente para los Estados Unidos del Show de botes Informa Markets, Andrew Doole, Presidente de la Asociación de manufactureros marinos, Frank Hugemeyer, Presidente y Jefe Ejecutivo de la Oficina de Visitantes y Convenciones del Gran Miami, David Whitaker, Señorita Miami Dade County, Danielle Ball, Directora de relaciones públicas y marketing del programa de becas Miss Miami, Isabela Corzo.
Referido como el “Súper Bowl de botes”, el show arrojó un gran suceso dando la bienvenida a más de 100,000 visitantes locales y foráneos, que disfrutaron a más de mil establecimientos, produciendo cientos de trabajos en el área con un estimado $1.3 billones impactando favorablemente la economía del Estado de la Florida.
Este año el show cambió su nombre por, Discover Boating Miami. Este nuevo nombre agrupa el show internacional de botes de Miami, el show de yates de Miami y el show de súper yates de Miami. Con ubicaciones y sitios de exhibición en Miami Beach y en el centro de la ciudad, el 2022 el Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show, ha sido el más grande evento realizado en el mundo de los botes y yates, y ha colocado a Miami en un lugar privilegiado en este gremio.
Estamos confiados que el próximo año el show tendrá un éxito aún mayor. El evento 2023 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show, tendrá lugar el año 2023 a partir de Febrero 15-19.
