The grand ballroom of the Miami Lakes Hotel was filled with chatter and community on November 5th, 2025, as the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce kicked off the 25th Annual Business Exposition. After a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion, local businesses attracted hundreds of attendees to explore the products and services offered by the familiar favorites throughout the room.
Over 50 local businesses and organizations took part in the exposition, highlighting the rich economic diversity of Miami Lakes. From local restaurants, insurance firms, and law offices to medical centers, auto shops, and community newspapers, every facet of the wonderful town was represented. Participating restaurants including Bon Vivant Charcuterie, El Churrascaso Grill, and Vicky Bakery served up their very best for their fellow business peers and Miami Lakes residents who attended the event. From gourmet meats and cheeses to grill-fired steaks and that oh-so-important cafecito at the end of a meal to raise the spirit, the classic culinary culture of the city was on full display.
Talking mortgages and business solutions over coffee and the familiar rhythms of salsa and pop music, local businesses like Barlop Business Systems and Hemisphere Title Company took full advantage of the networking opportunities offered by the exposition. Longstanding sponsors of the Expo and historic members of the Chamber gathered alongside these first-time attendants to share their expertise and encourage the forging of new bonds between the emerging businesses in the area, carrying out the Annual Business Exposition’s core mission to facilitate the creation of professional relationships.
Even with the business chatters and countless introductions around the room, the lively atmosphere was not difficult to miss. With prize drawings for attendants including a “Best Table” competition, the friendly yet competitive edge was on for the night.
Business traded raffle tickets and promotional materials across tables and attendants left with full hands of business cards, tote bags, and prospective connections.
The Business Exposition has become more than just a networking event for Miami Lakes; it has become a tradition and testament to the drive and dedication of the people of the city. By bringing together new and standing local businesses, entrepreneurs, city leaders, and residents, the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce has created an environment that encourages innovation, fosters community, and nurtures the economic diversity of the place so many call home.
As the year heads to a close, The Chamber of Commerce hopes to bring the spirit of community and innovation forward from the Annual Business Exposition to the final monthly Membership Luncheon of the year, scheduled for December 10, 2025.

ever-growing economic and cultural presence of the city.
