The echoes of Patria y Vida from Cuba continue to resonate in a mural in the «Callejón del Gallo» on Calle Ocho in Little Havana behind the Havana Collection store.
The mural is the sounding board of the Cuban exile people in the diaspora, of the suffering of the captive island subjugated by the communist dictatorship that calls for «Patria Vida» as a new libertarian theme embodied in the brushes of the artists who contributed to such a patriotic work. .
The idea that emerged in the works of artists Manuel Rodríguez Bello (El Chino) and Omar Corrales Mora began as a result of the demonstrations that took place in various cities on the island of Cuba against the communist government. This project is partially financed by the owner of the Havana Collection establishment, Mr. Fidel Asís, who kindly donated the wall of the establishment..

In it, I reflected a flourishing nation represented by a sunflower, a symbol deeply rooted in our culture. A heart is born from the sunflower that in a single beat shows the union of Cubans. In it a map of Cuba is fused, suggesting the new homeland that is approaching. The white color of the map alludes to a Cuba of peace, democracy and freedom, surrounded by a red halo symbolizing the value of all those who fight for their freedom. Ecos de Cuba resuenan en Miami

Los ecos de Patria y Vida desde Cuba siguen resonando en un mural del «Callejón del Gallo» en la Calle Ocho de la Pequeña Habana detrás de la tienda Havana Collection.

El mural es la caja de resonancia del pueblo del exilio cubano en la diáspora, del sufrimiento de la Isla cautiva sojuzgada por la dictadura comunista que pide «Patria Vida» como nuevo tema libertario plasmado en los pinceles de los artistas que contribuyeron a tan patriótica obra.

La idea surgida entre los artistas Manuel Rodríguez Bello (El Chino) y Omar Corrales Mora se inicia a raíz de las manifestaciones producidas en varias ciudades de la Isla de Cuba en contra del gobierno comunista. Dicho proyecto es parcialmente financiado por el propietario del establecimiento Havana Collection el Sr. Fidel Asís López, que gentilmente donó la pared de su establecimiento.
