March 19, 2016 was a very significant day in the history of the United State. The Sue Arnold’s Rehabilitation Center along with Suarez Museum of Natural Science & History for which I am the Founder and President, had the privilege of organizing and witnessing the American Bald Eagle’s flight back to its natural habitat after having been nursed back to health.
The two nonprofit organizations have been protecting wildlife and are responsible for providing continued support for other organizations dedicated to educate, conserve and preserve the flora and fauna for generations to come.
The mission of Sue Arnold’s Rehabilitation Center is to bring people and wildlife together to develop an awareness for the community about the value of Florida’s wildlife. The ultimate goal is to rescue, rehabilitate and return the recovered animals to their natural habitat. Recently the Sue Arnold’s Rehabilitation Center assisted in the recovery of Bald Eagle after it was wounded.
The mission of Suarez Museum of Natural Science & History is to be a beacon for the expansion of knowledge of the natural sciences and history and whose vision is to establish a self-funded permanent museum and house in South Florida. And expand its existing and future collections of natural science and history. It is very important for the Suarez Museum of Natural Science & History that each of us is the protagonist of this work, those present and those absent. For those who could not be with us physically during this historic event we welcome them to relive the experience with us through the media so that everyone can take part in the historic return of the American Bald Eagle back to its habitat.
I want to thank everyone for been part of this act with great historical significance. I was honored to be among important people key known figures throughout our community who each day perform different tasks for the welfare of our nation. Below I want to acknowledge our special guests who were in attendance and corporate sponsors who made this historic act possible.
Special thanks to Waste Management for opening their door for us even being a reserved area not open to the public gave us access to transmit this symbolic event to educate protection to wildlife.
