The Hialeah Chamber of Commerce & Industries held its monthly lunch at the beautiful Milander Center that was sold out.
HCCI conducted a Legislative panel with State Representatives Alex Rizo and Tom Fabricio that was moderated by Mayor Garcia Roves.
The topics discussed were of much interest to the community but to be expected property taxes / insurance dominated the conversation and both State Reps did a great job presenting the different aspects of what they are working on and will be working on in the next session in 2026.
New members were welcomed to the HCCI family. Also the announcement of a program for small and medium size businesses members in partnership with the state of Florida Will be rolled out in 2026. You can reach the HCCI at info@hialeahchamber.org.

La Cámara de Comercio e Industrias de Hialeah celebró su almuerzo mensual en el hermoso Milander Center, con lleno total. La HCCI dirigió un panel legislativo con los representantes estatales Alex Rizo y Tom Fabricio, moderado por el alcalde García Roves. Los temas discutidos fueron de gran interés para la comunidad, pero como era de esperar, los impuestos a la propiedad y los seguros dominaron la conversación, y ambos representantes estatales hicieron un excelente trabajo presentando los diferentes aspectos de lo que están trabajando y lo que trabajarán en la próxima sesión de 2026. Se dio la bienvenida a los nuevos miembros de la familia HCCI. Además, se anunció un programa para pequeñas y medianas empresas, en colaboración con el estado de Florida, que se implementará en 2026.
