The Miami Beach Hispanic Community is an enormous part of our history, and a key part of our future.
September 15 to October 15 is National Hispanic American Heritage Month. We celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month to recognize the achievements and contributions of Hispanic American champions who have inspired others to achieve success.
The City of Miami Beach has a Spanish Committee, which is formed by 7 prestigious members of the community, each appointed by the City’s Mayor and Commissioners. Their Chair is Mr. Gabriel Paez.
The Committee each year recognizes other members of the community that have made a valuable contribution in Miami Beach, in their diverse areas.
Following a competitive vetting of nominations from a cross-section of the community, the
Miami Beach Hispanic Affairs Committee has proudly announced and honored the
following individuals and businesses at the 2021 Hispanic Heritage Awards Ceremony
took place on Thursday, October 7, 2021 6 P.M. at Espanola Way Rotunda.
The categories and recipients were:

Premio a la Herencia Hispana de Miami Beach
La comunidad hispana de Miami Beach contiene gran parte de nuestra historia y es clave en nuestro futuro.
Del 15 de septiembre al 15 de octubre es el Mes Nacional de la Herencia Hispanoamericana. Celebrando el mes de la Herencia Hispana para reconocer los logros y contribuciones de los hispanoamericanos que han inspirado a otros a alcanzar el éxito.
La Ciudad de Miami Beach tiene un Comité Hispano que está formado por 7 prestigiosos miembros de la comunidad, cada uno designado por el Alcalde y los Comisionados de la Ciudad. Su presidente es el Sr. Gabriel Paez.
El Comité cada año, reconoce a otros miembros de la comunidad que han hecho una contribución valiosa en Miami Beach, en diversas áreas.
