As we begin 2017, I trust everyone had a Merry Christmas and a safe New Year’s Eve. Here at the Town of Medley, along with residents, staff, and associates will together embrace the New Year as it will bring us many accomplishments and new endeavors.
We will fervently continue to address the Town’s infrastructure as one of our many priorities. I am proud to announce that after many years the NW 87th Avenue Corridor Project will finally begin. Drainage and roadway improvements will also begin this year along NW 89 Avenue, 93 Street and 95 Street. In addition to these long awaited roadway improvement projects, the Town will be completing the NW South River Drive (Eastside from NW 72 Avenue to NW 74 Street) street and drainage improvement project that has been underway since 2016. The Town of Medley is very fortunate to have a professional, dedicated staff and workforce who care about the community and its citizens. They work constantly to improve our town, expand our opportunities through economic development, and enhance the quality of life in our community. As you can see, these are some of the reasons why I believe 2017 will be a rewarding year.
As always, I will continue to strive to ensure and maintain the well being and prosperity of our community. My doors will always be open to listen and address any concerns you may have. Your feedback is considered a valuable contribution to our work in progress. I hope that you are as excited as I am to experience these life changing milestones that are happening in our Town.
