On Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, members of the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce and their guests gathered for the monthly membership luncheon. Hosted at the Miami Lakes Hotel, the luncheon was well-attended, featuring a diverse group of community businesspeople, including doctors, attorneys, business owners, accountants, and more. The highlight of the event was a speech by Ryan Noble, the Executive Director of Miami-Dade at 4KIDS, who shared the impactful work his organization is doing to support children and families in crisis.

Noble, who joined 4KIDS after a decade of service with Dr. Tony Evans and The Urban Alternative, emphasized the organization’s mission to bring hope, homes, and healing to those in need across Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties, as well as the Treasure Coast and Southwest Florida. Since its founding in 1997, 4KIDS has positively influenced the lives of over 30,000 individuals through its comprehensive foster care services and supportive programs.

During his speech, Noble highlighted the critical role 4KIDS plays in the community, ensuring that vulnerable children receive the care and support they deserve. He expressed his excitement about being part of such a transformative organization, which relies heavily on the dedication of its faith-based community and numerous local partners. Noble detailed how 4KIDS is committed to redefining foster care, providing a continuum of care that includes family support, trauma-informed therapy, and specialized residential homes for sibling groups and teenagers.

Noble underscored the importance of community involvement in achieving 4KIDS’ vision of a home for every child. He invited attendees to join 4KIDS in their mission, noting that the organization’s efforts are bolstered by the generosity of individuals, churches, and businesses. Through partnerships and community support, 4KIDS aims to continue offering hope and a brighter future to children and families in crisis, one child at a time.

The luncheon provided an invaluable opportunity for attendees to gain insights from Noble’s vast experience and apply those principles to their own professional endeavors. As the event came to a close, the chamber members left feeling inspired and equipped with new perspectives on community engagement and the importance of supporting vulnerable populations. Noble’s impactful speech served as a reminder that making a positive difference in the community requires collective effort and a commitment to helping those in need.

The Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their next membership luncheon on Wednesday, June 12th, at 11:30 AM at the Miami Lakes Hotel with guest speaker Mayor of Miami-Dade County Daniella Levine Cava.
