The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce recently held its tenth edition of the «Women Empowering and Embracing Women Awards». The Women Empowering and Embracing Women Awards took place with great success in the beautiful Country Club room of the Biltmore Hotel in the city of Coral Gables. One of the honorees was the honorable Miami-Dade County Mayor, Daniella Levine Cava, who is the first female mayor of that county.
As usual, during that event, the Man of the Year award is given to a gentleman who has stood out during the year for contributing and participating more in the committee of the ladies-Hispanic Women’s, Society Network-, of the chamber and supporting women in general always. That award was given to Dr. Anthony Cruz, President of Miami Dade College Kendall Campus
In addition to Mayor Levine Cava, awards were presented to the following ladies:
Dr. Ana Duarte, Elizabeth La Rosa, Vice President of PNC Bank, Michelle Palacios, Sr. Vice President, FIU, Eng., Darlene Fernandez, Executive Director, MDX Diana Rodríguez, Miami Dade County Executive Sharon Rigaud, Sr, Vice President of Florida Technical College, and Ely Mendieta, Sr. Vice President of Elite Family Office

Premios Mujeres Empoderando y Abrazando Mujeres
La Cámara de Comercio Hispana del sur de la Florida, (South Florida, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce) celebró recientemente su Décima edición de premios “Women Empowering and Embracing Women Awards“ Premios Mujeres Empoderando y Abrazando Mujeres” el cual tuvo lugar con mucho éxito en el bello salón Country Club del Hotel Biltmore situado en la ciudad de Coral Gables. Una de los homenajeadas fue la honorable alcaldesa del condado Miami-Dade, Daniella Levine Cava, quién es la primera mujer alcaldesa de dicho condado.
Como es de costumbre, durante ese evento, se entrega el premio Hombre del Año a un caballero que se haya destacado durante el año por contribuir y participar más en el comité de las damas- Hispanic Women’s, Society Network-, de la cámara y en apoyar a las mujeres en general siempre. Ese premio se le otorgó al Dr Anthony Cruz, Presidente de Miami Dade College Kendall Campus
