El viernes 18 de agosto, la Cámara de Comercio Hispana del Sur de Florida organizó su Almuerzo/conferencia anual de premios Green Visionary & Sustainability Awards. En este evento, cinco personas fueron honradas por ser pioneros en hacer que el planeta sea más sostenible.
El evento comenzó con las palabras de apertura de Juan Fernández Barquín, secretario judicial del condado de Miami-Dade. La comisionada del Condado Miami-Dade, Danielle Cohen Higgins, fue la oradora principal. Siguió el panel de discusión en el que Frankie Ruiz, director de bienestar de la ciudad de Miami, actuó como moderador del panel, integrado por Moe Hachem, Javier Sánchez, Irela Bague, Teddy Lhoutellier y Juan Goritti.
Siguió la ceremonia de entrega de premios, donde la alcaldesa del condado de Miami-Dade, Daniella Levine Cava, recibió el premio a la Ecoinnovación. Javier Sánchez de los Miami Dolphins, la comisionada de Miami-Dade Danielle Cohen Higgins, Carolina Vester de la ciudad \de Coral Gables, Josenrique Cueto del Departamento de Transporte y Obras Públicas del Condado de Miami-Dade y Néstor Peñalver del Postal Center International recibieron el premio Green Visionary Premios.

South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce hosted its Annual Green Visionary & Sustainability Lunch Conference
On Friday, August 18th, the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Green Visionary & Sustainability Awards Lunch / Conference. At this event, five individuals were honored for trailblazing their way into making the planet more sustainable.
The event started with opening remarks from Juan Fernandez Barquín, the Court Clerk of Miami-Dade County. Miami-Dade Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins served as a Keynote speaker. The panel discussion followed where Frankie Ruiz, the Chief Wellness Officer at the City of Miami, served as the panel moderator, consisting of Moe Hachem, Javier Sanchez, Irela Bague, Teddy Lhoutellier, and Juan Goritti.
The Awards ceremony followed, where Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava received the Eco-innovation award. Receiving the Green Visionary Awards were the following; Javier Sanchez from the Miami Dolphins, Miami-Dade Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins, Carolina Vester from the City of Coral Gables, Josenrique Cueto from Miami-Dade County Dept. of Transportation and Public Works, and Nestor Penalver from Postal Center International.
