Hábitat para la Humanidad de Broward dio un paso significativo hacia el empoderamiento de las mujeres en su comunidad el 3 de abril de 2024, con la cena de inauguración del Círculo de Mujeres celebrada en el restaurante La Doña por el Chef James. El Círculo de Mujeres es más que una simple reunión, es un espacio seguro donde las mujeres se reúnen para aprender, compartir experiencias y trabajar colectivamente hacia un objetivo común: impactar y empoderar a las mujeres de todos los orígenes y a sus familias para que obtengan acceso a la inclusión financiera. prosperidad y equidad.
En la cena inaugural, el ambiente estuvo lleno de entusiasmo y determinación mientras mujeres de diversos sectores de la comunidad intercambiaban ideas. El evento brindó a los asistentes la oportunidad de establecer conexiones y forjar asociaciones que, en última instancia, beneficiarían a las mujeres y familias que necesitan vivienda y una red de apoyo.

Estimados líderes comunitarios y empresariales como la alcaldesa Michelle Gómez de la ciudad de Tamarac, la Sra. Lily Pardo, presidenta de la junta directiva de Habitat Broward, y el chef James Tahhan, director de Chef James Enterprises, compartieron anécdotas inspiradoras de sus experiencias personales con Habitat Broward. Habitat for Humanity of Broward took a significant step towards empowering women in their community on April 3rd, 2024, with the Women’s Circle Kick-off dinner held at La Dona Restaurant by Chef James. The event served as a beacon of hope, unity and support, bringing together women leaders from diverse industries and backgrounds to foster a culture of collaboration and empowerment.
The Women’s Circle is more than just a gathering, it’s a safe space where women come together to learn, share experiences, and work collectively towards a common goal: to impact and empower women of all backgrounds and their families to gain access to financial inclusion, prosperity, and equity.
At the kick-off dinner, the atmosphere buzzed with enthusiasm and determination as women from various sectors of the community mingled and exchanged ideas. The event provided an opportunity for attendees to build connections, and forge partnerships that would ultimately benefit women and families in need of shelter and a network of support.

They reminded the attendees that each individual possesses the ability to make a meaningful contribution to the world.
Moreover, the Women’s Circle serves as a platform for women to share their stories and experiences openly. By fostering a sense of community and sisterhood, participants feel empowered to voice their concerns, advocate, seek advice, and offer support to one another.
