El Dr. Alejandro Badia en entrevista efectuada en su consulta nos habla de actuales y diversos temas en su práctica de la cirugía de manos y extremidades superiores y su creación del concepto » Orthonow» (Ortho Ahora} hecho realidad en su Clínica del Doral, revolucionando la práctica médica en los Estados Unidos.
El Dr. Badia entre sus logros académicos y profesionales cuenta con varios títulos de prestigiosas universidades en los Estados Unidos y Europa que avalan su éxito, entre otros la Universidad de Cornell y la Universidad de Nueva York (NYU) donde obtiene su título de Doctor en Medicina y su respectivo entrenamiento en cirugía ortopédica, siendo al mismo tiempo jefe residente del Hospital Bellevue. Realizó su especialidad de cirugía de mano en Pittsburg y en Europa.

Nos responde el Dr. Badia: Soy cofundador del «Miami Anatomical Research Center «(MARC), el centro de tecnología avanzada más grande del mundo y en el 2008 se inauguró «Badia Hand to Shoulder Center», un centro clínico completamente equipado para tratamiento de extremidad superior; además soy miembro activo en varias asociaciones de cirugía de mano, ortopedia, y ortoscopia en los Estados Unidos, así como también en el extranjero. Fui Presidente mundial del «International Society for Sport Traumatology of the Hand» (ISSPORTH) y recibí el «Legacy Award», presentado por el Doral Business Council.

Dr. Badia responds: I am a co-founder of the «MiamiAnatomical Research Center» (MARC), the largest advanced technology center in the world. world and in 2008 the «Badia Hand to ShoulderCenter» was inaugurated, a fully equipped clinical center for upper extremity treatment; I am also an active member of various hand surgery, orthopedic, and orthotic associations in the United States, as well as abroad.

Dr. Badia answers us: At the «OrthoNOW» our patients have direct access to digital X-rays, MRI, physical therapy, and the most advanced operating rooms at their disposal. Virtually all hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder problems are treated with positive results in the same place, in addition to an outpatient center with multiple sub-specialists, who together treat all musculoskeletal problems providing the total care of orthopedic medicine in one place.
