La ciudad de Hialeah cuenta con uno de los artistas plásticos más reconocidos a nivel internacional Jorge Díaz Álvarez, este artista ha expuesto su obra en múltiples galerías de arte tanto en los Estados Unidos como en muchos países de América Latina, nace en La Habana Cuba. En el año 1985 se graduó de Licenciado en Relaciones Políticas Internacionales.
Desde muy temprana edad incursionó en el mundo de las artes plásticas, Su obra pictórica es un reflejo de su vida y así mismo proyecta su escritura. Ha publicado varios libros de cuentos, Cabalgar sobre los Sueños en Estados Unidos y Leyendas Urbanas en Barcelona España, En un rincón de este universo en Granada España, su poesía ha sido publicada en diferentes antologías también en España.

Está enfrascado en la próxima publicación de un poemario, cuatro libros de poesías que nos permite un amplio recorrido por el quehacer poético de este artista, también en una novela, en la que está poniendo todo su empeño para que sea un suceso literario.

The city of Hialeah has one of the most internationally recognized visual artists, Jorge Díaz Álvarez. This artist has exhibited his work in multiple art galleries both in the United States and in many Latin American countries. He was born in Havana, Cuba. In 1985 he graduated with a degree in International Political Relations.
From a very early age he entered the world of the visual arts. His pictorial work is a reflection of his life and also projects his writing. He has published several books of short stories, Cabalgar sobre los Sueños in the United States and Leyendas Urbanas in Barcelona, Spain, and En un rincón de este universo in Granada, Spain. In a recent interview with El Vocero News, Jorge told us about his future projects. He plans an exhibition in Dubai this winter and in Paris at the beginning of next year. He is currently busy publishing a collection of poems, four books of poetry that will allow us a broad overview of the poetic work of this artist, as well as a novel, in which he is putting all his effort to make it a literary success.
