El Honorable Roberto Martell, Alcalde de la Ciudad de Medley, se unió al Vicealcalde Iván Pacheco,y la Concejala Karina Pacheco, de la Ciudad de Medley MYSC y otras organizaciones de servicio comunitario sin fines de lucro en sus esfuerzos por ayudar a la comunidad. La Ciudad de Medley pudo organizar una colecta de alimentos en colaboración con Farm Share el sábado 12 de marzo de 2022. Los preparativos comenzaron a las 7:00 am, se hicieron cientos de bolsas y todo estaba listo para empezar a las 8:30 am. Desde las 9:00 am hasta las 12:00 pm, la fila de autos comenzó a recibir sus bolsas mediante el excelente servicio colocado por el Departamento de Policía de la Ciudad de Medley. Los conductores expresaron su gratitud y felicidad al recibir sus bolsas. Este tipo de evento demuestra a la comunidad que trabajando juntos podemos lograr grandes cosas.
The Town of Medley Organized another outstanding Food Drive -drive thru.
The Honorable Roberto Martell, Mayor of the Town of Medley, was joined by Vice Mayor Ivan Pacheco, Councilwoman Karina Pacheco, and the Town of Medley MYSC, and other non-profit community service organizations in their efforts to help the community. The Town of Medley was able to organize a charitable Food Drive – Drive thru in collaboration with Farm Share on Saturday, March 12, 2022. The preparations began at 7:00 a.m., hundreds of bags were made, and everything was ready to go by 8:30 a.m. From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the car line began receiving their bags by the excellent drive thru pattern placed by the Town of Medley Police Department. Drivers expressed their gratitude and happiness as they received their bags. This type of event demonstrates to the community that by working together, we can achieve great things.
