What we’ve built across this district is real. Support that crosses party lines. Democrats, Republicans, and independents who may not agree on everything, but agree on what matters: results, honesty, and accountability.
Too often, attention goes to noise instead of results. I focus on outcomes you can actually see.
So I want you to hear directly from me. Not filtered. Not spun. Not secondhand.

Florida is growing fast. That brings opportunity, but also pressure. Housing, infrastructure, insurance, and cost of living are not abstract issues. They affect your daily life and your long-term stability.
The question is not whether we grow. The question is whether we manage that growth with discipline.
This year’s state budget reflects that approach. At approximately $113 billion, it is slightly smaller than last year while maintaining strong reserves. Not flashy. Responsible. Focused on public safety, workforce, infrastructure, environment, and healthcare.
Housing remains one of the biggest challenges. When supply is low, prices go up. That’s not politics. That’s math.
The state is working to increase supply while improving predictability in the process. Delays do not stop development. They increase costs, and those costs fall on you. At the same time, local governments still control how projects impact infrastructure, traffic, and neighborhood quality. That balance matters.
Insurance continues to be one of the toughest issues facing our state. We have taken steps to reduce fraud, stabilize litigation, and encourage carriers to return to the market. We are beginning to see signs of stabilization. Not perfect. Improving.
Infrastructure is where discipline matters most. Growth must pay for growth. That means new development should contribute to the roads, water systems, and flood protection it relies on, rather than shifting those costs onto long-time residents. That is a basic standard of fairness.
Following the tragedy in Surfside, condominium safety standards were strengthened. Those changes were necessary, but they also created financial pressure. The focus now is on balance. Safety and affordability must work together.
We also advanced reforms in areas that impact everyday life. Child abuse reporting now prioritizes accountability from the moment authorities are aware. The Blue Envelope Program improves communication between law enforcement and individuals with autism. Healthcare reforms strengthen oversight and long-term stability. Workforce investments expand training in high-demand fields like nursing. Cybersecurity efforts protect critical systems without exposing vulnerabilities.
Looking ahead, the focus remains clear. Property tax relief must be responsible. Insurance must continue to stabilize. Housing supply must increase with better planning. Government must become more transparent and less dependent on guesswork.
Government won’t be perfect. But it should be disciplined.
That is the standard I apply to every decision. Does it make sense? Is it sustainable? Does it solve a real problem?
If the answer is yes, we move forward.

Lo que hemos construido en este distrito es real. Un apoyo que cruza líneas partidistas. Demócratas, republicanos e independientes que pueden no estar de acuerdo en todo, pero coinciden en lo que importa: resultados, honestidad y responsabilidad.
Con demasiada frecuencia, la atención se va al ruido en lugar de a los resultados. Yo me enfoco en resultados que ustedes pueden ver.
Por eso quiero que escuchen directamente de mí. Sin filtros. Sin manipulación. Sin intermediarios.
Si no me conocen o no han participado en un town hall, los invito a comunicarse directamente. Esto solo funciona si nos mantenemos conectados.
Florida está creciendo rápidamente. Eso trae oportunidades, pero también presión. Vivienda, infraestructura, seguros y costo de vida no son temas abstractos. Impactan su vida diaria y su estabilidad a largo plazo.
La pregunta no es si vamos a crecer. La pregunta es si vamos a manejar ese crecimiento con disciplina.
El presupuesto estatal de este año refleja ese enfoque. Aproximadamente $113 mil millones, ligeramente menor al del año pasado, manteniendo reservas sólidas. No es llamativo. Es responsable. Enfocado en seguridad pública, fuerza laboral, infraestructura, medio ambiente y salud.
La vivienda sigue siendo uno de los mayores retos. Cuando la oferta es baja, los precios suben. Eso no es política. Es matemática.
El estado está trabajando para aumentar la oferta y mejorar la previsibilidad del proceso. Los retrasos no detienen el desarrollo, lo encarecen, y esos costos recaen sobre ustedes. Al mismo tiempo, los gobiernos locales siguen controlando cómo los proyectos impactan la infraestructura, el tráfico y la calidad de vida en los vecindarios. Ese equilibrio es clave.
El seguro sigue siendo uno de los temas más difíciles. Hemos tomado medidas para reducir el fraude, estabilizar la litigación e incentivar el regreso de aseguradoras al mercado. Estamos viendo señales de estabilización. No es perfecto. Está mejorando.
La infraestructura es donde la disciplina más importa. El crecimiento debe pagar por el crecimiento. Eso significa que los nuevos desarrollos deben contribuir a las carreteras, sistemas de agua y protección contra inundaciones que utilizan, en lugar de trasladar esos costos a los residentes de siempre. Eso es justicia básica.
Después de la tragedia de Surfside, se fortalecieron los estándares de seguridad en condominios. Eran necesarios, pero también generan presión financiera. Ahora el enfoque es el equilibrio. Seguridad y asequibilidad deben ir de la mano.
También avanzamos reformas que impactan la vida diaria. La protección infantil ahora prioriza la responsabilidad desde el momento en que las autoridades tienen conocimiento. El programa Blue Envelope mejora la comunicación entre la policía y personas con autismo. Las reformas de salud fortalecen la supervisión y la estabilidad a largo plazo. Las inversiones en la fuerza laboral amplían la capacitación en áreas de alta demanda como enfermería. Y los esfuerzos de ciberseguridad protegen sistemas críticos.
Hacia adelante, el enfoque es claro. El alivio de impuestos a la propiedad debe ser responsable. El seguro debe seguir estabilizándose. La vivienda debe aumentar con mejor planificación. Y el gobierno debe ser más transparente y menos improvisado.
El gobierno no será perfecto. Pero debe ser disciplinado.
Ese es el estándar que aplico todos los días. ¿Tiene sentido? ¿Es sostenible? ¿Resuelve un problema real?
Si la respuesta es sí, avanzamos.
