La Cámara de Comercio Hispana del Sur de la Florida celebró sus premios anuales al liderazgo hispano en donde se dió el premio “logros de toda una vida” a la reconocida fundadora del Miami City Ballet, Toby L Ansin por todas las contribuciones que ha aportado ella al ballet fundándolo en nuestra ciudad de Miami. Entre los premiados se encontraba también el alcalde de la ciudad de Hialeah, Esteban Bovo Jr., el representante estatal Bryan Avila, y muchos otros empresarios y ejecutivos hispanos muy destacados. Más de 350 personas asistieron a esta magna celebración en la cual también se contó con la alcaldesa del condado Miami-Dade Daniela Levin Cava la cual presentó una proclama a la señora Ansin proclamando el día 25 de marzo el día de Ella en el condado. . The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce held its annual Hispanic Leadership Awards Luncheon.
The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated at the Biltmore Hotel its iconic Hispanic Leadership Awards in which many entrepreneurs were recognized for their achievements and contributions to the community. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Ms. Toby Lerner Ansin, the founder of the Miami City Ballet in an event with over 350 people, including several elected officials- among them the Honorable Mayor of the City of Coral Gables, Vince Lago, the Honorable Hialeah Mayor Steve Bovo Jr. State representatives Bryan Avila, and Alex Rizzo, Miami Beach commissioner Kristen Rosen Gonzalez and Miami Dade County Mayor Daniela Levine Cava who presented a Proclamation declaring March 25 “Toby Lerner Ansin Day”.
