Miami Dade County Mayor, Daniella Levine Cava spoke Wednesday, March 9th, during the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce’s monthly membership luncheon hosted at the Miami Lakes Hotel to one of the biggest turnouts yet with over 80 guests in attendance! Attendees were eager to network, snap pictures, and hear from the mayor. Doctors, local store owners, accountants, and businesspeople from many differing industries were in attendance providing premiere opportunities for networking and building strong, local business relationships. In the foyer prior to the Mayor’s speech, guests conversed while enjoying delicious charcuterie provided by Chamber member, Creations in Bloom.

Inside the ballroom, members and their guests were accommodated with full course lunch and coffee provided by the Miami Lakes Hotel. After giving each member ample time to introduce themselves, their businesses, and/or the services they offer to the over 80 attendees, President Senra enthusiastically introduced Mayor Levine Cava. Prior to arriving to the luncheon, Mayor Levine Cava participated in the Miami Dade County Bike to Work Day, along with Mayor Manny Cid, other local government officials, and a few chamber members. Mayor Levine Cava touched on the importance of community events, such as the Bike to Work Day and local organizations like the Chamber of Commerce, in bringing people together to make communities like Miami Lakes thrive. The Mayor expressed her passion for local chambers as she stated they are an integral part and a huge boon to growing businesses seeking to build relationships in their communities. Along with Mayor Levine Cava, guests listened in to this month’s Chamber Member Luncheon Spotlight: William Nodal of Fit Bins. Fit Bins provides cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing services for trash cans and recycle cans at your home or business. They offer monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, or one-time packages depending on your needs. Fit Bins also donates 10% of all sales to a local nonprofit, Caring for Miami. Lastly, President Senra announced the newly elected 2022 board of directors consisting of: Fred Senra as President, Magaly Rubio as Vice President, Rafael Schuck as Treasurer, Rosa Barroso as Secretary, and Eddy Sedeño as Secretary. The Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their next membership luncheon on Wednesday, April 13th at the Miami Lakes Hotel Ballroom featuring guest speaker Miami-Dade County Beacon Council President and CEO Michael Finney.
