The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce recently held its Women Empowering and Embracing Women Awards Luncheon. The event highlighted the importance of women supporting and encouraging each other and recognized the achievements of outstanding women in various fields. Also during the event, the book “Cuban American Women Making History” by Dr. Arnhilda Badia, a prominent professor and former Florida state representative, was unveiled. In this book, the author highlights 51 Cuban-American women who represent figures that have stood out, and the President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of South Florida, Liliam M. Lopez, is included. Nicklaus Children’s Hospital presented the event at the beautiful Biltmore Hotel.

La Cámara de Comercio Hispana del Sur de Florida Celebra a Mujeres Destacadas
La Cámara de Comercio Hispana del Sur de la Florida celebró recientemente sus premios Women Empowering and Embracing Women Awards durante un precioso evento. Almuerzo . El evento destacó la importancia de que las mujeres se apoyen y se animen mutuamente y reconoció los logros de mujeres destacadas en diversos campos. También durante el evento, se reveló el libro “Cuban American Women Making History,” libro de la Dra. Arnhilda Badia, destacada catedrática y ex representante estatal de Florida. En ese libro destaca la autora a 51 mujeres Cubano Americanas que para ella representan las figuras que se han destacado muchísimos y la Presidenta de la Cámara de Comercio Hispana del Sur de la Florida, Liliam M.
