The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce recently hosted its annual Health Symposium, featuring a stimulating panel discussion centered on the transformative effects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the healthcare and medical fields. The esteemed panel included Dr. Fernando Collado-Mesa, Professor of Clinical Radiology, and James Lindgren, Executive Director, both from UHealth. They were joined by Dr. Allan Stewart, Medical Director of Cardiac Surgery at HCA, and Dr. David Seo, Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Nicklaus Children’s Health System. SFLHCC Board Member Michelle Febres skillfully moderated the discussion.
Following the enlightening panel, the Health Champion Awards ceremony celebrated ten trailblazers who have significantly impacted the healthcare industry. Among the recipients were Senator Ileana Garcia and Benjamin Leon of Leon Medical Centers.
